Northeast Indiana Beekeepers Association

Our objective is to promote the art and skills of beekeeping in Indiana and throughout the world.  By doing so, we preserve and improve the general environment in which we live, assist in providing better crop yield,  provide high quality honey, and we do our part to preserve bees.

Swarm Removal

We provide volunteer beekeepers to remove swarms of honeybees in our community. Call Rick Stevens (260) 610-1040. We cannot help with cut outs (extractions from trees and buildings). We do not remove wasp or hornet nests.

New Beekeeper Mentoring

For the new beekeeper, or just an extra set of hands and eyes for troubleshooting, we have a list of seasoned apiarists ready to answer any questions.

Local Honey

You can buy local honey, nucs, and supplies from our members or from The Beekeepers of Indiana. To add your honey products to the statewide list, complete this TBOI form.

Club Meetings

Monthly on 3rd Thursdays, 7:00 p.m., at Classic Café

September 2023 Presidential Minute

September 2023 Presidential Minute

The weather is turning cooler as I write this. I hope that your harvest is going well. Mine was not a record breaker but still very strong. I was interested to see how varied my mite counts were in the same bee yard with some hives with tons and others with none. Back...
